Teen Open Studio: SS

Our teen open studio sessions are a space for youth to come together and connect with their creative side in a nonjudgmental safe environment. The goal of the open studio is to empower youth to utilize art as a resource and vehicle for personal growth and social connection. Through a variety of media, youth are encouraged to express themselves in appropriate ways through painting, drawing, and collage and other mixed media materials. Participants may work on their own projects, or the project/topic of the week. Participants take part in deciding the weekly themes, and are encouraged to view this as a time and place to express themselves, support one another, and have fun making art. Facilitated by Aili Lopez, LMHC &  ATR.
